Powered by Digitalus CMS

There are a wide range of tools that allow people to edit websites. Some are very easy to use, and others allow an experienced developer to do amazing things. The Digitalus Site Manager bridges the gap...it makes it easy for people with basic computer skills to maintain their site content. Advanced users have the full power of the Zend Framework, Jquery AJAX library, and the DSF framework to do virtually anything that is possible.

Advanced Page Options

The edit page interface is broken down into two main parts.  The content (main and additional) and advanced options.

Advanced options is where you update specific parts of a pages functionality that are optional.

Open the page you want to update and click Advanced Options under the View menu.

Advanced Options

Design Options

You can set the page template and layout page by page.  If you set either all of the children of the page will use the template and layout you set here (unless you specifically set them).

Menu Options

Here is where you can hide a page on the menu.  You can also set the menu label here.

Note: this works good when you just need to update one page.  If you need to update several at the same time you should probably manage the menu.  Click Open this menu.  This will open the menu editor.

Move Page

To move a page select the new parent from the dropdown and click Move Page

Were not forgetting Modules

There is a lot more to adding modules, so that is going to come in another tutorial.  Click here to check it out.
